The impetus for most of these compositions comes from teaching music to middle school students at Pilgrim Christian School in Stuarts Draft, VA. The opportunity to write for a specific audience was not one to pass up.

This is one of the first songs I arranged for my choir of 5th-8th graders to sing. The carol has been a fascination to me with its beautiful message of wonder and awe.

This traditional text is set to a new tune which works best in repeat, adding a new part each time.
